The woman behind the camera
My name is Katelyn but when we meet just call me Katie. As a girl from the Carolinas I live and breathe the outdoors and spend my fair share of time in our National Parks. Those who know me personally know that I have always carried my camera around with me just incase I saw something amazing. I have been professionally doing photography for just over 6 years now and the most important thing you need to know about me is that I LOVE my job. I love meeting new people and capturing memories that you and even I will cherish forever. I love to focus on the small details that make us all unique and capture them in an artist manner.
When I first started taking pictures on my little pink canon I had big dreams of one day becoming a National Geographic Photographer. Even once I decided that they were definitely more hard core than me I still put everything I had into learning the ins and outs of photography as a whole. So for the past 14 years I have found myself through photography no matter how cheesy that sounds. But since I started so long ago you can watch me grow up and live my life through my photography. One of the most amazing things though is watching my style evolve over the past 3 years into what it is now.
